When you start IRC, you need to connect to the darkmyst server in order to participate in the official camarilla channels. There is a number of ways to connect.

Method 1 - Lightning Bolt
If you have connected to darkmyst before, then just click on the yellow lightning bolt icon at the top left hand corn of the client (which I've circled in yellow in the image below).
Method 2 - Type It Out
If you have never connected to darkmyst before, then type in the status window " /server irc.darkmyst.org " and hit enter on the keyboard.
Method 3 - More Involved Instructions
Open the program. At the top of the window, select "File" and then "Select Server"
Then under the "IRC Server" section, you click on the drop down menu and look for "Darkmyst:Random Server" and click it.
Then click on "OK", which is circled in yellow in the image below.
Last, you click on the yellow lightning bolt icon at the top left hand corn of the program (which I've also circled in yellow in the image below).
When it's connected, there will be a large introduction messege that will look something like this:
Method 4 - If Nothing Works
